Happy New Year!


Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a great Christmas Holiday.  I know I did.  Lots of cooking and grandkids.  It was really a fun time with family.  And now the new year is upon us.  So, I decided to make a New Year's card.  And it is just in time for Creative Craft Challenges 2 Anything Goes Challenge.  I used New Year Marci from La La Land Crafts.  The sentiment is one of two that came with the stamp.

Elf Up and Away


Wow! I can't believe Christmas is almost here.  I finally finished my shopping, but still have a couple of things to put together.  And I have nothing wrapped yet.   I have made my last Delightful Thursday card for 2013 for Digital Delights.  But, I will return in January 2014 with a another new release for Delightful Thursday

For my card today I used Elf Up and Away.  What a cutie!  I paired him with paper from the Holly Jolly Digital Paper Pack.  Then I used my Copic Sketch markers to color him up like the paper.  My sentiment is from the Christmas Hugs Sentiment set.  All of these can be found at the Digital Delights Digi Shop.

White on White


There is a new challenge today at Creative Craft Challenges 2.  The theme is White on White.  We have a wonderful sponsor for this challenge.  And that is Pink Gem Designs.


For my card I used white cardstock from Georgia Pacific.  For the first layer I used Stamping Up Petals-A-Plenty Embossing folder.  The second layer is stamped with SU set Snow Swirled.  The tree is embossed with Winter Wonderland Embossing Powder from Stampendous.  Gems from my stash were placed on the tree.  The ribbon is also from my stash.  The sentiment is also from the Snow Swirled stamp set.  It is stamped with SU Baked Brown Sugar and punched out with SU Scallop Oval punch.

North Pole Eddie


Happy Thanksgiving to those of you that celebrate the holiday.  I will be travelling to Dallas where I will see both my kids and their families.  We will have 2 birthdays to celebrate on Friday also.  So big holiday.

This is North Pole Eddie.  I think he is such a cute little elf.  He is my project for Delightful Thursday for Digital Delights.  The image, sentiment, and designer paper can  all be found at the Digital Delights Digi Store.

Non-Traditional Christmas Colours


Don't know about the rest of you guys, but it is cold here in Texas.  It has been cold here for several days now and I am tired of it.  But, it is supposed to start warming up some tomorrow.  Yea!  Anyway I am back today with a new challenge at Creative Craft Challenges 2.  The theme is Non-Traditional Christmas Colours and the sponsor is Dustin Pike

Snow

Morning fellow crafters.  I know it has been a week since I last posted, but I have been doing some fun things.  I have been making some glittered ornaments and they are so easy.  Also, I have been working on Christmas cards and birthday cards for my son and granddaughter.

Sleigh Ride Marcia


It is new release day at Digital Delights.  The new release that I am showcasing today is Sleigh Ride Marcie.  What a cutie!  I cut her out with my Silhouette Cameo.  You can find her here at The Digi Shop.

I used Georgia Pacific white cardstock for the card base and white mat.  The red designer paper is from the Holly Jolly Digital Paper Pack.

I colored Marcia with these Copic Sketch markers:  B0000, B000, C2, C3, C5, E000, E00, E01, E31, E33, E42, E43, E50, E51, E53, G43, G46, R20, R27, R29, Y23, Y26.  I also used a Black Copic Spica pen on her glasses.
 
I tried to give the feel of hills of snow where Marcia is sledding.  I accented them with Icicle Stickles.  I used the Memory Box Frostyville Border die cut and also MFT Die-namics Let It Snowflakes die cuts.  I sprayed the white mat and die cuts with Imagine Crafts Sparkle Sheer Simmer Spritz to give them a bit of sparkle.  I also used Glossy Accents on Marcia's glasses and Diamond Stickles on her hat.  The snowflake centers are Silver Glitter Candi Accents from The Paper Studio.

Button Mushroom Fairy


It's that time again for a new Cute and Fun Challenge at House of Cards.  This month is a Color/Photo Inspiration Challenge.  Be Inspired by the photo, colors or both.  If you go with colors, please choose at least three.  Here is your inspiration.

I went with the colors to create my card.  I used Elaine Cox's Button Mushroom Fairy from Sweet Pea Stamps.  Lots of bling and sparkle added to the fantasy of the card.
